In house Cold Krush Artist, Mathew Dopheide, guided the local community members the way of the can for ‘Aerosol across the Ages’ with an ‘Around the World’ theme. You can find these boards on the side of the Unley Community Centre on Arthur St. Great work everyone!

We recently had the pleasure of facilitating a workshop with the students from Thomas More College. A short demo by our tutor, Jesse, which followed with the students trying their hand at aerosol painting for the first time. Everyone had a blast!
So this happened... Year 10 Art students from Endeavour College went on a school excursion to the Cold Krush Store/Gallery to learn how to use Aerosol Paints, most of them for the very first time!
The Cold Krush facillitators, Grots and Fleur, demonstrated and assisted the 42 students over the last two weeks in a workshop environment. The students displayed their new found skills on boards that will be exhibited at the Endeavour College Art Exhibition held at the end of the year. Thoroughly enjoying themselves and very determined to create art and masterpeices all of them were spraying, almost non stop for the whole time spent with us.
We really hope they all continue to incorporate aerosol into their regular arts practice and should all be stoked with what they created at the workshop, best of luck with your Art Exhibition and future artistic endeavours!
We hope to see you again at Cold Krush, until then all the best from the CK Team!Info about Workshops?... Click here...

Today, one of the in house artists at Cold Krush, Fleur, facilitated an aerosol workshop. Today's workshop gave the participants new skills about can cantrol, and how the brands of spray paint operate with different caps used.
Many brands that are on the market specialise in Canvas work and Mural work. There are plenty of caps on the market too! The different caps for the spraycans are on a scale for Skinny/Thin (for more detailed work) to Extra Fat (to fill in larger areas quickly). We understand that some people may find, at first, this type of art form to be challenging. To start off with we begin the workshop with an introduction to all the aeorsol paint stocked at Cold Krush and the different caps you can use for the different cans. We personally love the Montana level caps, Grey hoods and the classic NY Fat cap, our particpants fell in love with these pretty quickly too.
If your interested in taking part in Cold Krush's next workshop, mark your calanders for the Summer Holidays as there will likely be a workshop then, or to secure your place now please register your interest by contacting us to ensure you're kept up to date with any news for our next Aerosol Workshops.
Fleur was so happy to have kicked some knowledge to these particpants today, and we all really hope they continue their artistic endeavours as they are all very gifted and natural born sprayers!Interested?... Click here for more info!
