From Wednesday the 26th October we will be displaying original works by members of Adelaide's BWA crew. BWA formed during the tumultuous early 90's period of Adelaide's strong underground graffiti history.
On their own they're amazing, but together, these two artists created a spectacular exhibition at Cold Krush on Friday the 1st of May. With Piano's Graphic, Cubed Artworks and Roger's Wooden Wonders, the Gallery was alive with vibrant colours and breathtaking pieces. Many people showed up on the night to enjoy the atmosphere and Wine provided by the sponsors, Longview. The Artworks still remain on display at Cold Krush, and will remain there until the 1st of June. The Opening Night had some out-of-the-ordinary guests, including a very special dashhound. All in all the exhibition was a blast and the artwork was, and still is, a phenomenon.Check out artwork here!

'BRING DA RUCKUS' is a collaborative visual arts experience created by Adelaide artists, STORE and KEAS. It includes works that pay homage to the hip hop group WU TANG CLAN, who have impacted the duos art and ideology. This is the first of a series of exhibitions that will feature at Cold Krush as part of 'REVOLVE'.
STORE has been an integral part of the Adelaide graffiti/art scene over the years and is a founding member of the prolific art crew TOY SOLDIERS. As a qualified youth worker he has worked with numerous youth to develop their artistic talent, their entrepreneurial skills and how to use creativity to help resolve their life issues.
KEAS met STORE at an aerosol art course 3 years ago and has been under his guidance ever since. This experience has helped him grow into an outstanding young person and talented artist in his own right. Currently 17yrs, he is on his way to establishing himself as a professional artist. He is also studying youth work and intends to carry on the artist/mentor tradition STORE has created within South Australia’s street art scene.

We have recently procured a number of original works by Adelaide Graffiti Artist, Tarns One. Most of these pieces are available for purchase in our online gallery.
ONLINE GALLERY: Tarns One
Tarns One (The one who freaks the funk), has been painting graffiti since 1987. Influenced by the Graffiti phenomena in Sydney and Adelaide during the 80s, Tarns picked up a spray can and hasn’t dropped the can since. He is best known for his ability to perpetually reinvent his style, all the while preserving the more traditional elements of graffiti. This has made him an icon in the Australian graffiti culture. Tarns always comes correct with one of the best can control skills in the game.
Tarns has exhibited in many group shows nationally and internationally, and now announces his FIRST Solo exhibition: ‘TARNS ONE’ - his works will be exhibited at the recently opened gallery ‘THE SPACE’ Currie Street, Adelaide (entry via Burnett St).
This exhibition will show works displaying his impeccable skills with aerosol paint. Tarns continuously stretches the limitless possibilities this art form can be taken. His works are a statement; they feature abstract ideas exploring the relationship of forms and colour with some works derived straight from raw graffiti. His paintings are an explosion of dynamic colours, technical line work and geometric letter forms.
After 27 years of painting graffiti, this exhibition will be a real treat for anyone who has seen Tarns Graffiti Art in the streets, and for those who haven’t you now have the opportunity to see and potentially own a painting of this Australian Aerosol Genius.
Tarns One - First Solo Exhibition on show at - THE SPACE, Currie St (enter from Burnett St) opening on Friday the 28th of November (6-9pm) – 30th of November for 3 days only.TARNS ONE Facebook Event Page
